Vi Dog Training collects and processes personal data within the following category: clients.

How is the personal data gathered?

We process the data that you have provided us. We do not gather personal data from a third party without your consent. Gathering of personal data takes place via email, group class registration, telephone call, online forms, contact form on this website, when you write to us on social media and when you share your personal data with us when we meet in person.

What data do we gather and save and for what purpose?

We handle, gather and save personal data such as name, address, email address, purchase history, cell phone number and whenever applicable we also handle Swedish Identity Numbers (“personnummer” in Swedish). We save this data for the purpose of being able to contact you, being able to charge you for our services, to fulfill any agreements that we have with you, being able to bookkeep according to Swedish laws.

Other reasons that we may save your data include being able to give you a private lesson at your home address, sending you newsletters and other kind of marketing and conducting evaluations of our services.

Sometimes we also handle photos of you as a client, something that also counts as personal data. We only take and save photos after you have given your verbal and/or written consent. Once we have taken a photo of you with a cell phone or a camera, we then transfer the photo as quickly as possible to our cloud services online and thereafter delete the photo from our camera, cell phone and computer.

If you book a private lesson with us, we will take notes regarding the training progress of your dog with the purpose of helping you as a dog owner in the best possible way.

We may use your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing for up to one year after you have shared your data with us.

Where is the data saved?

Your personal data is saved in our client register that is located online within Google GSuite. If you are a paying client of ours then your personal data is also save in the bookkeeping program Visma eEkonomi that we use for our bookkeeping.

For how long is the data saved?

We delete email, texts and other communication from you as a client once this data is no longer relevant. If you have stopped being a client of ours we delete your data within one year.

If we have taken a photo of you with a cell phone or a camera, we then transfer the photo as quickly as possible to our cloud services online and thereafter delete the photo from our camera, cell phone and computer.

The data that is given when we bookkeep a clients’ purchase must be saved for at least 7 years according to Swedish law.

This is how we protect your personal data

We take the safety of your personal data seriously. We make sure that no unauthorized persons get access to your personal data. We use several security measures and we make sure that no unauthorized persons get access to our passwords. If, despite our efforts, a hacking incident would occur, we would inform you as soon as possible.

Your access to your personal data

You can demand to get a copy of your personal data that we have saved about you whenever you would like. You can also contact Vi Dog Training whenever you want to demand that your personal data be corrected or deleted. The GDPR also provides the right of data portability. This right makes it easier to move your personal data from one company to another. If you would like to get a copy of your personal data, demand a correction of your personal data, move your personal data (“dataportabilitet” in Swedish) or if you would like for us to delete your personal data then do not hesitate to contact us at the email address hello@vidogtraining.com

Sharing of information to other actors and parties

We only share personal data that we have gathered and saved to another actor or party if it would be required by law or by a court decision.
